A side view of the cathedral from the lounge and one bedroom has the road view, the other bedroom is a room within a room so no window. All amenities were provided, kitchen, toilet and lounge on the upper level and then 6 steps down to 2 bedrooms and a shower and bath (the shower is in the bath tub so you have to climb in). Situated no more than a 5 minute walk from the main train station, a lift to our 4th floor apartment. …Īs arranged we arrived to be greeted by a lovely lady who gave us all our instructions and handed over our keys. In total, it was good, though there were some uncomfortable moments, mentioned above. It was really cold in the apartment at a time of our evening arrival and became more or less suitable only in the morning.
There was no kettle, and during cold rainy days it was a real need we had to boil the water for tea in the pot, and the electricity in the apartment was constantly switched off, though we did not use many electrical appliances. A sofa in the living-room was tired but still good enough. Both bathrooms are family, not ensuite, and very clean. Parking is in the same building on the ground floor, but you should drive in from a very narrow street with a great slope, and if you have a big and heavy car or minivan, it could be a real problem (for us it was, we had to park at the street). A little bit noisy, but this is a very center.
